Keynote: Success Starts with You.<\/strong> Emmy-award winner and founder, Wainscott \u00a0Studios, Mitchell Kriegman<\/strong> Mr. Kriegman began his diverse career as a short story writer, performance artist and video artist. In the early 1980’s, he joined the team of Saturday Night Live<\/em> as a performer, writer and filmmaker. Soon after, Kriegman began creating, developing and producing series for Comedy Central, Nick at Nite, Disney Channel and other cable networks. He has written for such publications as The New Yorker<\/em>, National Lampoon<\/em>, Glamour<\/em> and Harper’s Bazaar<\/em>. As the creator of shows such as, Clarissa Explains It All<\/em>, Bear in the Big Blue House<\/em>, and Book of Pooh<\/em>, and executive head writer and developer of numerous other signature television series including Rugrats, Ren and Stimpy<\/em>, Doug<\/em>, and Life with Derek<\/em>, Kriegman is the creator and executive producer of It’s a Big Big World<\/em>, the Emmy-nominated PBS preschool series focusing on environmental awareness.
